How to integrate and adjust environment map in 3ds max

Find or produce environment picture (best: high resolution (>3000 x 2000pixel, hdri))

Apply picture to “environment map” and create instance to “Material Editor” (don´t use Real-World-Scale))

Change settings: hight (V), horizontal direction (U)

Adjust bitmap parameters (tone value curve, …) (Output: Enable Color Map)
