Cube Concept Store

The design for the Cube Concept Store originated from a two-dimensional pattern and was developed during the course “Digital Design 2” of my second bachelor semester. The orthogonal basic pattern was placed over the shop’s ground plan, rotated by 45 degrees. This rotation creates a dynamic room structure, while the pattern itself serves as clear grid to ensure that the shop remains easily accessible to first-time customers despite its fragmented concept. Partial elements were then either extruded or lowered in height to section off areas and design display surfaces, while the uniform materiality ensures that the boundaries between steps, floor areas and furniture seem to dissolve.
