From 3d object in Rhino to PPS (PlanarPolySurface) in Grasshopper.

“Assemble” component:

• Shell: Material/Thickness

• “Disassemble” and “unfold” component:
• “Custom preview” and wireframe component: better preview in Rhino viewport

Assemble component:

• Joint component: fingerjoint for CNC and lasercutter
• Node component: optimize corners and edges

Unfold component:

• Nesting: define size of sheeds
• Open nest: optimize nesting and calculate waste
• Labeling: create labeling for parts or edges

Bake unfolded nesting and prepare in Rhino for digital production:

• CNC-Export 3d objects
• Lasercutter: “make2d” for 2d lines and export
