Introduction into para 3d (4.6)

This video is an introduction into para 3d (4.6), a node based plugin for generic design for 3ds max.

It explains the workflow of para 3d and the functionality of the interface. It also gives you a basic understanding of parametric design.

Introduction: mathsurf example, toolbars, units

open para 3d/create parametric array, 1D/2D/3D array

Example “Pyramid”: functionality of container (scalar, vector, matrix)

How to add and use controllers: linear+random controller

Example: Load and save paraflow

ADD: container, PARA, controller, add ons

Example: create parametric array: surface controller (UV/VU direction)+pattern controller

MINUS: remove function, copy/paste, make unique, zoom

Navigation window, turn on/off nodes,

Expand/collaps, hide unused channels, arrange nodes

Exchange para members, add new and reload properties

Select para member, select para node, preferences

Control pannel: output preview, bitmap controller, next/up

Auto update + animate

Controller library: incompatibility, purge, Load/save
