Setup SooperLooper GUI Program:
Enable plugins in Ableton (Use Audio units)
Install Sooperlooper:

• Library/AudioDriver/Plugin/Components
• Application /new folder “SooperLooper”

Setup SooperLooper in Ableton:

• Check right GUI path
• Save Scene as reverence

Install new SooperLooper 1.7.4 and controlling screen issues

Setup SooperLooper in Ableton:

• Sync To: Jack/Host (Ableton), Loop1
• Add Stereo Loop
• Shortcuts for everything

Jack/Host Mode: synchronisation with Ableton-metronome

• Explains record/overdrub, undo
• Undo short: deletes last recording
• Undo long: deletes all recordings
• Setup: Jack/host, tempo, 8th, quantize

Midi binding for Softstep in preferences

• right mouseklick on function to “Learn Midi Binding”
• Softstep: change to “Note Set” (60/61) to Undo/Record
• Switch of unused programmings in Softstep

Softstep setup

• changing from Standalone to hosted in Softstep
• Ableton: activate “Track on” for” SooperLooper AU out” in preferences “Link Midi”
• export/Import Settings in Softstep from standalone to host
• Change output ports in softstep

Drag Audioeffects from one channel to other

Several Audioeffects Sooperlooper have their own server portnumber

Loop 1 with no synch to ableton
: there is no tempo before the first loop

• Overdub (O): press “record” again
• Undo fast: last Overdub will be deleted but not first one
• Undo (U) long: deletes all
• Redo (R): last overdub will be redone

Loop with Ableton synch (Jack/Host)

• Soundbrenner/Metronom: Beat 1 Downbeat is the start of the Loop
• Randys setting Ringcontroller: 1 Button = Record, 2 Button= Undo, 3 Button = Undoall
