Sectioning model based on loftobject in para3D

Create loft object based on spline line

Transform loft object shapes

Create plane for sectioning planes and import it in para3D as “Array”

Setup plane-position as array for sectiong with “math controller” and “pattern controller”

Setup rotation of sectioning planes with “interpolate controller”

Import loft object as only “assign controller”

Add “Contour generator” node, connect to Loft and to Sectioning planes with “ParaLInkController” , Create “Sectioning planes”

Use “Array size” node for global control of amount of sectioning planes

Change array size and adjust rotation and position of sectioning planes

Label para scene for better overview

Produce section planes with thickness with “parametric array reference” node and shell function

Adjust thickness of shell function in para3D with “random and interpolate-controller”

Create “Parametric array reference” for lasercutter packing

Create sectioning object helper for better assembling after laser cutting with “Compound node”/ subtraction

Change loft object and recalculate sectioning plane
